Another way to reduce your heating costs is by utilizing outdoor reset controls.  These controls read the temperature of the outside air and control the temperature of the boiler water that flows through your radiators to keep your home comfortable.  This can keep the house warm on cool days and eliminate the problem of too much heat on a cool fall or spring day.  Call our service department to learn more about installing control into your system.

Quick Pay Discounts
Earn a discount for fast payment of your delivery! If we receive your payment within five days of the date of delivery, we give you a discount.  The discount changes from time to time, based on the market rate, so after a delivery has been made, simply call our office and ask for the Quick Pay Discount.  We’ll calculate the discounted amount for you, and you can mail in your check.  As long as we receive it within five days, we will discount your bill.

One sure-fire way to earn the Quick Pay Discount every time is to keep credit on your account.  That way you automatically get the discount, as long as the credit is big enough to cover each delivery.

A third option is to give us permission to bill your MasterCard the day after each delivery.  You get four cents per gallon off your oil bill (and two cents off propane), and yet you still have a month to pay MasterCard!

Earned Interest
Earn interest on your credit balances at Bantam Fuel.  If you have a credit balance on your account for more than 30 days as of the last day of the month you will be credited earned interest.  Bantam Fuel will issue a check for a credit balance at any time a customer requests it.  (Earned interest is not credited to customers with monthly payment plans when they carry a credit, because they are exempt from interest charges when they carry a balance due.)
